Easter Nails

I started off the week with this tribal look. The base is NYC "Lexington Yellow". I used a Bundle Monster plate and the polishes Zoya "Natty" (vegan) and OPI "Dutch Ya Just Love OPI". 

Easter nails! I did a simple pastel skittle and then added the bunny and carrot this morning.

Index: Color Club "Blushing Rose' (vegan) but it chipped so quickly so I switched to Sally Hansen Insta-Dry "Pink Blink".

Middle: Julep "Shenae" (vegan).

Ring: Julep "Simone" (vegan)

Pinky: Essie "Borrowed and Blue"

Julep Vera

Julep "Vera" is darker on the nails than in the bottle. I originally thought it was a nude but it's not, it's brown. A pretty Fall brown creme.  As always with Julep, application was flawless. This is two coats.

I later used Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in "Steel Gray" and BM to stamp a zebra design. It's very subtle but I loved it.  "Steel Gray" is a purple-ish brown, not gray at all, fyi.

My crazy ass dog! He got completely covered in burrs when I was taking these pictures. I look awkward in these first two pics but look at my dog, hahaha. This outfit is my "go to" silhouette. This top makes the boobies look gigantic though!

It's hard to see but I did roses on the big toe and stripes on the rest. I like it. Wish my broken nail would grow faster!

I forgot to post my Monday Mani yesterday! The theme was animal print. I always try to do something new for Monday Manis so I went with giraffe print. No tutorial needed. I did a base of Bettina "Birds" with is this awesome pale mustard color. Well, actually, it's the colour of a chick so I assume that's where it got its name.

Then I stamped it with a BM plate. I used Avon "Nocturnal" to stamp but it was quite sheer. I don't know why but I didn't really like how this turned out.  It just looked random to me, didn't really make me think of a giraffe. The plate was either too small or I just had a hard time getting it to completely transfer.

I messed up on my right hand. Two "spots" turned out messy and dark.

 I thought it looked cool with my tabby kitten's fur haha

Here's another girly manicure using my newest polishes. I LOVE this pink. It is really the perfect baby pink shade. I'd be looking for the perfect one for a while so I'm happy about this. I really like these Insta-Dry polishes. They go on nicely and dry fast.  It also worked well for stamping.

I bought "Set the Stage" the other day as well at Target. It is one of the new SH Xtreme Wear colours. I really liked them all but this was my favourite. It's similar to my NYC "Starry Silver Glitter" but just gold. You can see it on my ring finger below.  Sorry these pictures aren't very clear.  Glossy top coat messes up my pictures (need a new camera...).
