Super Glue Shoes

Happy 237th Birthday, Marine Corps!  Best military force in the world.

I've reunited with these shoes and it feels so good. I'd forgotten how comfortable they are and that they go with just about everything. The heel broke on one so I was going to toss them but really, who is look at my heel? I just super glued it to make sure it doesn't fully come apart. haha I'm so classy!

I love the pin up girl look. A black cat eye and red lips are too classic to go wrong with. Lipstick is Wet n Wild Megalast "Purty Purmmison", a great orange based red.  And yes, my hair is definitely looking less red these days. I've had it for just over 3 weeks, so not too long really. Reds just fade fast. But I still love the colour so I really don't mind. My roots aren't too bad. I'll probably re-dye it in a few weeks.

Throw a Belt Around It

I'm enjoying my new hair! Yesterday I straightened it which I liked. My bangs kept falling in my face though, haha. I wore this outfit just to go grocery shopping and get iced cappuccinos with my husband. :) I like the look of this belt with the sweater instead of the one it came with. I think it makes it look more pulled together and less like a robe.

 I'm thinking of making more scheduled, weekly posts. If there is anything you'd love to see, let me know!  I think I'm going to share a recipe or food pictures every Friday.  Being healthy is very important to me; what I eat is a big part of that so I'd like to share more of that here. Outfit and nail posts would still be a regular, random thing. Maybe I could do a makeup/hair look once a week?
