I wore this to my husband's grad thing last week. I've actually had this dress since, like, the beginning of the year and have not got around to doing alterations on it. haha That's kind of embarrassing! It just needs to be taken in at the waist a bit. So did I get around to doing that before wearing it? Nope. I just threw a belt on. Hashtag lazy. I love the colour of this dress and the little keyhole! I also really like this style. It's a little more modest so it works well when I want to be a little dressed up for a day event.

Life Lately
Last night my husband and I went to see The Goo Goo Dolls in concert along with Plain White T's and Daughtry. It was so good!!
My husband graduated from a VERY hard swimming intructor's course! So proud! Like the short shorts they have to wear? haha
Gradient mani. I use a makeup sponge to create this look.
School work and green snacks.
My Unlock Hope tshirt that I cut the sleeves off of. Go check out their shop!! It's great stuff and for a worthy cause.
Vegan Essentials haul! So far I've only tried the coconut bacon which is delicious.
New hair 'do!
My new running shoes. I love New Balance Minumus shoes, have been wearing them for years. I lucked out and found these in my size at Ross for only $35!
Post run rest time with my Forrest pup. I've been using the app Zombie Run and I have to say it motivates me to go run haha
Diving into the essential oils world! I owned a few already but wanted to really expand. I think they are amazing for natural healing and prevention!
New work/school stuff from Target. Nothing like new supplies to make you at least feel organized haha
I've been participating in a yoga challenge on Instagram called #altruismyoga. I'm a total amateur but always learning, growing and improving!

Outfit to Recreate
The Inspiration: Fashion Bananas
I love the combination of a longer flowy skirt with a tied grey tee. It's still casual but definitely a step up from jeans and a tee.
Target sandals (the most comfortable sandals!)
I've been in the process of growing my hair out (still am) but I ended up going a bit shorter the other day. Actually, it's shorter than I want on the sides by a fair bit...I don't know why my hairdresser cut it so short! I wanted it similar to how it is in the back. My hair grows quickly though so in a month or so it should be to where I want it (like this).

Outfit: On Wednesday's We Wear Pink
I actually wore this over the weekend but figured with the shirt it was appropriate to post today. Gotta love some Mean Girls! Two of my friends and I quote it all the time. hehe
Today is actually a VERY exciting day because my husband finally comes home!! He has been deployed the past 8 months so safe to say I'm FREAKIN' ECSTATIC! :D Can't wait to be wrapped up in that guy's arms!

Outfit: Ombre Chambray
This outfit seems more Spring than Winter appropriate but I sure do love it! I really like brown with chambray and then I think the oxfords tie it all together.
Tomorrow I leave for a two week vacation!! Super excited. I have a few posts set up but be sure to follow me on Instagram to see what I'm up to in Seattle, Canada and San Francisco!

White Jeans. Finally.
This isn't a top I wear that often but that doesn't mean I'm not obsessed with it! Dear mirror print trend, please stick around for a while.
And yes, white jeans! I've been on the hunt for a while but for such classic, common item I had a hard time finding the right pair. Honestly, most were just really unflattering. I read somewhere that it's smart to size up with white jeans and I will agree with that. I ended up getting these Old Navy Diva ones and absolutely love the fit! They only had them in Tall so I had to hem them myself. Tall is aimed at people my height and above but these were CRAZY long! I hemmed 2" and they are still pretty long. They were less than $10 on clearance though, can you believe it? White jean fate, I say. Now we'll see if I can keep them clean which is another reason I hadn't bought a pair until now. haha
Dang sun made my butt look super flat! But I wanted to show the back of this shirt because it's true love.
Telling my dog to sit haha
Old Navy jeans ($15.97 online right now)
Simple Summer makeup. The All Natural Face mineral foundation (vegan) and brow wax/powder in light brown (vegan) Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in "Perfect Brown" (vegan), theBalm Bahama Mama bronzer (vegan), BH Cosmetics Original eyeshadow palette, Urban Decay 24/7 Gliden On Pencil Eyeshadow in "Sin" and Milani Baked Blush in "Luminoso" (cruelty free. Not 100% sure it's vegan). Items I reach for quite often!
My hair has pretty much grown out to the length it was before my last cut, like 4 weeks ago.

Lazy Dress
This is my comfy lazy dress. Everyone should have one. Well, every woman I guess. I added a statement necklace and studded shoes to add some visual interest.
Lots of pictures to show my latest hair cut!
The lipstick is NYX "Haute Melon" over NYX "Amsterdam".
Icing "Mint Chocolate Chip"
