2

2nd outfit for the 30 for 30 challenge!

You can see my new hair better here. I wish I had gone a bit shorter but oh well. I'm still getting the hang of it. Here it's just dried naturally but I prefer it either straightened or curled so far. :) It feels very carefree at this length though and it is easier to work with! Definitely takes less time to style (duh).

June weather sucks to dress for. It starts off cloudy but around noon it clears up and ends up getting up to, like, 80F. haha I think I'm going to take these pants in around the hips, the bagginess bothers me.

(top + pants Old Navy, necklace Premier Designs Jewelry, flats Burlington Coat Factory, belt ebay)
 what I used

Sinful Colors has a line out called Adventure Island which has some dupes for the OPI collection On Stranger Tides (inspired by the new Pirates of the Caribbean line). I bought the only true dupe which is actually the
colour I most wanted from the OPI line!   You can check out the OPI Stranger Tides swatches here for comparison. I got Sinful Colors "Seaweed" which is a dupe for OPI "Stranger Tides".

Check out these swatches from makeuptalk.com.

Here are some pictures of "Seaweed" which I found at Rite Aid and is $1.99.

I only got pictures of those fingers because I forgot to take more adding some crackle polish!  Every brand seems to have a crackle polish now. I have one from China Glaze, OPI, Sally Hansen and now Pure Ice!  I believe this one is a real dupe for OPI silver shatter from the On Stranger Tides collection!  The Pure Ice crackles can be found at Walgreens for $3.99.  Trick to this one was to apply it very thick. It's hard to photograph though as the crackle is very shimmery and more subtle. I loove it though!

So here is Pure Ice "Lightning Strikes" over Sinful Colors "Seaweed".  I added the crackle over a completely dry mani (including SH Mega Shine top coat) but next time I may try it over wet polish.

  1. I've been stalking my drugstores lately for that Sinful Colors collection but I haven't seen it yet- I hope I can find it!
You look so model-esque in your pictures, great outfit! :)
