A few outfit pics! Yay! The weather was cooler so I got to wear pants and a cardigan. I wore this to Ulta where I bought a few things. The crotch of these pants always wants to hang low, I'm not sure why. Old Navy pants tend to fit me strangely though. Sorry for the lack of outfit photos. Something about Summer just does that to me.

Okay, this polish is REALLY REALLY hard to capture accurately. This is the case for all three of my new Funky Finger polishes.  I was so surprised when I saw them (came in the mail) because they didn't look like the swatches I'd seen or even the bottle pictures.  

Funky Fingers "Riot" is purple. It wears darker on the nail than it appears in the bottle. I'd actually call it indigo in low light. Still, it wanted to photograph really blue. I tried my best to correct the colour.  Application was pretty nice. It was opaque in two coats, not streaky at all. I found it tricky to get a perfect cuticle line so I did do some clean up. It was hard to get near the cuticle/sides without flooding them. 

It dries semi-matte like so:

I added top coat and an accent finger. I love a blingy accent finger!  I used Sinful Colors "I Miss You". I have a lot of their glitters (still want Call Me Later- great for Christmas time!) and love them all. This one has fun rainbow glitter in it so it's extra blingy in the sun! I did two coats over FF "Riot". I used my new Color Club 0-60 Speed Topcoat that I got for only $3 at Ross. It was great, better than Revlon Quick Dry but today (day 3 of mani) I noticed it looks scratched up (kinda like a mirror) and it's peeling/scratching right off on some nails! Hmm.

I later used one of my Sassy Nails pens to do some roses on my thumbnails. These pens are AWESOME. They make doing nail art so much easier. I'm really glad I got them. I got a set of four + two glitter pens and only paid shipping thanks to a deal on savemore.com!

Remember, this polish is PURPLE...not so blue like it looks here.

 After a few days you can see a chip, tiny bit of tip wear on index finger and scratches on the top coat. Not awful though.
