Is it Fall yet?

I actually took nail, outfit and beauty pictures all on the same day! Here is the first part, outfit and beauty. I was a bit warm in this, honestly, but the weather has cooled down this week. I'm starting to get pretty excited for Fall. It's not bundle up weather here until November (even then, a light coat is fine haha) but that actually gives you a lot of options when getting dressed. So, Fall is pretty fun fashion-wise here in Southern California, I think.

A messy pony tail has kind of been my go to look lately. I wear my hair up during the day a lot in the summer just to keep cool. I like how low key this look is.  I have a hair appointment Friday though so expect my hair down pictures!

Here's another Fall beauty look I'm loving; navy cream eyeliner and red lips. I think the lips look more red in person. It's Milani HD Advanced Lip Color in "Candy Apple". I got it for free for liking the Milani Facebook page a while back. I LOVE it! It's such a flattering red and easy to wear. It applies like a gloss but has a lot of colour. I can apply it without a mirror which is nice. It stays put nicely. Even once the gloss has worn off, there is still colour on your lips.  They retail for around $8.  I think I may pick one up in another shade at CVS. I never spend that much on lipstick but I do love this.  Oh, it also tastes like a candied apple at first! haha You have to twist the bottom quite a bit to get the lipstick to come out of the tube and I read that some people couldn't get it to go back down, but mine goes down just fine (twisting the opposite way).

I covered my lids in a matte eyeshadow just to get rid of any shine and redness. Then I did a cat eye look using navy cream eyeliner. The elf ones are seriously amazing. This stayed on all day/night, through crying while chopping onions, rinsing off in shower and...other things. haha I lined my upper waterline with black eyeliner.
