Themed Mani: Patchwork

I forgot to take actual pictures of this outfit, so this is all you get. haha

Makeup always seems less obvious in pictures than in person. These eyes looked much smokier in person! It has been a go to look for me lately. Gold eyelids with cream eye liner rimmed eyes. Then I play up the lips with whatever colour I feel like it, which in this case was none. I used Jouer lip balm which I got in September's Birchbox. I really like it! It looks glossy but feels more like a balm. It gives nice shine. It lasts well on its own but not through eating/drinking.

The bracelet is simple but cute. The Incoco strips are leopard print (I don't generally like animal print but I will wear it on my nails) and cute; I've never tried any polish strips so I'm curious. I don't really love the perfume plus it's a pain to open so I will give that to someone. The facial cream feels really nice but I don't like lavender scent. So, this month wasn't as big of a success for me but I do have $20 in points to spend now! I hope next month has more makeup, less skin care. I have too many skin care samples, haha. I will probably cancel after December for that reason.

I haven't done a Monday Mani in a while! The theme this week was "patchwork". I hadn't done that before so I decided to give it a try. I'd already done a mani using WnW "Blue Wants to be a Millionaire" so I just added an accent nail.  This is, like, 8 coats of the "Blue Wants to be a Millionaire". haha It goes on very sheer which is cool because it's great for layering! It's a scattered holo. I do like how it looks once you get it opaque though. Application was weird. You have to do the first layer thin or else it runs all over your nail! It was good otherwise though. I haven't had ANY tip wear or chips so I'd say the wear is decent (I know it's only Tuesday).
