Day 6: Violet

31 Day Nail Challenge

I ended up keeping that blue mani for two days. :)

For violet, I used a few different purples. Originally I was going to stamp but that didn't work out; stamping is so finicky.  I did the base using Julep "Diane", a deep purple creme that is opaque in one coat. On my ring finger I added two coats of a no name Blush polish which is a dark purple jelly with gold flakes. Then I added Icing "Glitz and Glamor".  For the nail art I used Essence "No More Drama" and a striping brush.

I'm hosting a Scentsy party today! Anyone can order from my party here, including you guys! It's warmers, scented wax, perfume (My Wish perfume is amazing. I wear it all the time), room sprays, car freshners etc.  I'm making up a big pot of hot apple cider, mmm. I'm also making spinach dip to have with the hummus I made Saturday and some whole wheat pita bread. I'm about to make pumpkin  bread (again) but with chocolate chips instead of walnuts this time.  There's also Hansen Pomegranate pop! My inlaws sweetly sent my husband and I pumpkin truffles and pumpkin tarts the other day! Unfortunately for me, they aren't vegan. So my husband ate the truffles and I'm serving the pumpkin tarts to my friends today. I think I'll put some grapes out as well, just to round things out.
