Outfit: Boho Maxi Skirt

I've been feeling reeeally drawn to boho looks lately. Maybe it's because I'm studying holistic nutrition or because I'm doing yoga more regularly now, I don't know, just give me tribal prints, maxis, feathers, headbands blah blah.  I want it all!  It doesn't hurt that the clothes tend to be super comfortable and figure forgiving flattering, let's be honest.  I picked up this skirt at Ross for dirt cheap this week. I love the print and it's crazy comfortable!

Sorry about the lack of posts lately! Just been distracted with my husband being home, y'know. 

Loving maxi skirts lately. They're pretty great this time of the year. I found this one in store at Target recently and really liked the pattern! 

Outfit: Maxi

I finally found the right black maxi skirt. And guess what? Only $13 at Walmart. Go figure. It's super duper comfortable, not too hot or difficult to walk in because of the side slits, can be worn low or high on the waist...  Yeah. It's a very thin material so it'll work well for Spring. I'm hoping them come out with a coral colour!

Fall Tease

Here's the black version of this skirt. I couldn't resist! I figure this one will work well for Fall, especially since the temps are still pretty high here then. I'm seeing the Fall clothing pop up in stores already and it's like torture! Fall fashion is my favourite but I try not to buy too many jackets/boots/pants this early... you can still wear shorts in October here! I am tempted to get this jacket though.

Cobalt Blue

I've been looking for a sheer maxi skirt and of course, Target to the rescue! I've also ordered it in black. They are only $17 right now! I love maxis but I often find I get too hot so this light version is great. I wore this to a 31 Party; met some new ladies. I can't say ladies without thinking of that Dmitri Martin joke. haha But yeah, had fun!  I'm definitely extra thankful for friend right now. I had my closest friends move away so I've been trying to meet more people. With my husband gone so much right now and deploying soon, friends are a must!

Please excuse the wrinkly shirt! This skirt used to be a dress but I decided it'd get more wear as a skirt so I simply cut off the top and added an elastic waist band.  I plan on making some lighter Spring appropriate maxi skirts soon!
