I forgot to post my Monday Mani yesterday! D'oh! I LOVE it too so I'm surprised I forgot. It chipped the second day though so I already have something else on. The theme this week of at Polish-aholics Anonymous was "splatter mani"! I hadn't done this before so I wasn't sure it would turn out... but I loved it! I went for a dark galaxy look. Lots of pictures!

It looks a lot bumpier in these pictures than it did in person.

Basically, you use a straw with polish on the end. By blowing into the straw, it splatters the polish onto your nail.  A skinny, straight, plastic straw seems to work best. I paint the polish onto the end so a thin layer covers the straw opening.  It usually took me two tries to get it to splatter. If the splatter was too big, I splattered over it using the base (in my case black) polish! "Daddy's Girl" was the runniest polish and it seems to work the best. "Celeb City" is very opaque and thick so it did bigger splotches.

For mine I did the following:
Clear base coat
Two coats of black (I used a franken but any black works)
Teal (I used Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro "Marine Blue") splatter
Silver (I used SH Extreme Wear "Celeb City") splatter
Purple (I used Sinful Colors "Let's Talk) splatter
Glitter coat (I used Sinful Colors "Hottie)
Top coat (I used Color Club 0-60 Top Speed)
