Food for Thought

Eating healthy is affordable. 

Also, did you know that when you eat overly processed food that your brain doesn't understand when the stomach is full? It reads it as still being partially empty! That is why you can eat so much.  If you are eating something nutritious and natural, your body and brain work the way they should and you will feel full at an appropriate time! I think I learned that from the documentary Food Matters.


I'm posting this today, before Vegan Mofo starts since it shows meat and dairy even in the last one. You can pretend it's soy bacon and non dairy milk though!  Keep in mind that with that last meal, some of your ingredients will make multiple meals not just the one!

  2. I agree with this, you just also have to keep in mind that poorer people also are probably single parents and/or working multiple jobs and do not have the luxury of cooking non-quick rice for a half hour to an hour, on top of sauteing the peppers and cooking the bacon, etc.

    Just a thought. :)
