Asparagus!

Some good eats this week. I did a liquid (juice/green smoothie) cleanse Tues/Wed. It was supposed to be three days but didn't work out that way. Still, it made me feel a lot better. I think maybe I should try doing that one day out of each week instead of a longer cleanse every few months.
Yummy gf pasta with vegan meat and sauce, butternut squash, asparagus and garlic toast. Yeah, it's an iPhone pic. It takes better indoor pics than my camera so expect to see many more of these.

orange, ginger, pear, broccoli, spinach and cucumber juice. delicious.

I juiced an orange, apple, broccoli and spinach then blended it with a banana and lots of ice. Seriously so good.

My first time juicing a pomegranate! Pomegranate, yellow bell pepper, spinach, carrot, lemon and apple. Tart but tasty.

Super OJ. Carrots, yellow/orange bell pepper and oranges. Amazing.

Not a pretty drink but it's a new favourite. Cucumber, pears, ginger and grapes.

Gf oats with pear, cinnamon, nutmeg and a splash of flax milk.

Frozen berry smoothie

AMAZING waffle that totally did not need syrup. The strawberry puree (just strawberries in the food processor) was super sweet.  These waffles have a ton of flavour on their own as they have pumpkin and cornbread in them! Recipe here.

Leftover yellow curry from Thai One On restaurant. I looove the flavours of this curry.

Some juice cleanse ingredients.

Spaghetti squash with same sauce as above with sourdough garlic bread and asparagus. I'm on a real asparagus kick right now. I brush it with a tiny bit of coconut oil, add some sea salt and cook for 10-12 minutes at 425F.

Stir fry with brown rice, cauliflower, broccoli, cashews, carrot, raisins, sweet n sour sauce and Gardein "chicken".

Veggies + hummus <3 p="p">
Leftover chili with asparagus (my husband doesn't eat it so when I buy a bushel I have to eat it all before it goes bad haha) and garlic bread

Homemade chocolate soft serve. Frozen bananas and unsweetened cocoa powder, that's it. So good.

  1. This post makes me want to eat healthily. Asparagus is one of my favorite veggies. Usually, I grill it.
