Here's what I used for the makeup look. Face + eyes. It's funny to see how many brushes I use now. I didn't used to use any! They make such a difference though. Oh and I also have Tarte Amazonion Clay Foundation on, it somehow got left out of the picture.

Knitted Cape
Voila! I chose Infra Red because I read that it has an orange base, not pink and I prefer orange toned reds. Plus I've heard the pink based ones fade to a hot pink shade. I do think my hair looks a bit pink in the sun though haha Without sun, it is a much deeper red. I really am happy with the shade! Part of me is tempted to mix in Wildfox, an orange Manic Panic dye, to see how that looks or Vampire Red which is a darker red but we'll see! Vampire Red has a pink base so I don't know how well it would mix with Infra Red.
I knelt in my bathtub to rinse it all out. Oh and I had washed/done a face mask the day before I dyed my hair. It took a while to rinse out most of the red but I haven't had any issues with it staining pillows or anything. The towel I used is now my dye towel. I think I'll be okay just using dark brown towels after I wash my hair normally though. It's Tuesday and I haven't technically washed my hair since Wednesday! I used some dry shampoo on Sunday but that's it. It was still so clean! I even applied some product in it after washing it. It needs to be washed today though so I will use my red shampoo/conditioner and do that. The less you wash your hair, the slower the colour will fade so if I can do it only once a week and use dry shampoo in between that would be great!
I had more pictures from day one but I accidentally deleted them and can't seem to find a free memory card recovery program. Oh well. You will see plenty coming up; I've been taking a lot of outfit pictures lately.
This knitted cape is the most comfortable thing ever. I've never owned a cape jacket/sweater before. I always feared it would look too shapeless but I actually really love it. I tried to show it a few different ways below (but lost a bunch of the pictures). You can button the collar all the way up, unbutton the "sleeves" (so then it's like a blanket!) etc. Now I kind of want an actual cape jacket! Only downside to the sweater is you can't wear it under a jacket, not that that's an issue here but in colder climates I guess it could be.

Early Fall Purchases
Some of you may have noticed I didn't post my outfits and purchases from last (September) month. This wasn't intentional! I just don't have access to my laptop right now and am using my husband's so I didn't have my purchases list and therefor wasn't sure I could remember it all for a post. haha I will do the outfit post soon, I realize I could have just done that on it's own. Silly me. Anyway, I've decided to mix things up so to share my newest purchases you can expect a post like this. If I'm shopping a lot, you can expect to see maybe two a month where as some months it may only be one. It was a good experience for me, holding myself accountable for every purchase so I do want to somewhat keep that up just in a different format. A format that I think will be more fun for you readers! Because this way you can find out where to purchase the item right now. Onto the purchases! These were made this month.
Click the number for a link to the product if it's online.

Goodies
- I'm still figuring out how to bake with gluten free flour. The texture is always off but I guess that's to be expected. These were still pretty tasty, just not as light and fluffy as I would have liked.
- I love love beer. The pumpkin beer at BJs is sooo good! It really reminds me of pumpkin pie.
- Made some very simple rings the other night. It's literally just twisted wire haha but I've been liking this trend
- Loving this colour for Fall so of course I had to wear it on my nails! This is China Glaze "Velvet Bow"
- After thinking about it for a couple weeks, I decided to buy this cape from Target. So happy I did. It's like wearing a blanket hehe
