Outfit: Overcast Layers

We had some cool weather (and rain!) a couple weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, I love Summer but I think I was made for cooler temps. I am from British Columbia after all.  I'll never take Southern California for granted though. I've gotten so used to all of the sunshine here that when it's actually overcast for an entire day, I get a little giddy haha Funny because it was kind of the opposite growing up! Anyway. I was excited to layer a bit and seriously loved this outfit. Ankle boots are m'fav.

ps. I adore this jacket I got at Target a couple years ago. Have you guys seen their current version? I want! Here and here.

Outfit: White WIne

Here's an outfit I wore to go wine tasting. Yeah, I wore white (totally just typed wine there ha!) to drink wine.  I live on the edge, I tell ya!

Recently picked up this blouse at Target. I love how well it drapes and well, I am a sucker for blouses. I don't know why. It's kind of a weird thing to own a lot of but hey.  The shoes are also from Target and a new favourite! They are very comfortable and I love that they can be dressed up or down. I'm really digging the D'orsay style shoe right now. They are also on sale right now, just saying!

My hair is getting so "long"!  I don't think I ever mentioned it here but I went over the pro job (which was bleached and dyed bright red) with a mix of Manic Panic Pillarbox Red and Wildfire! It has faded a fair bit and it's weird to have dark roots since I hadn't ever previously had my hair bleached but I do love the colour. Infrared still lasts the longest for me though!

Outfit: Old Navy

Breaking up the travel posts with an outfit. I'm wearing a lot of Old Navy here! I can always find inexpensive basics there. I had a pair of striped flats from there that I wore to death so these are basically replacing those although they are a different style and not as insanely comfortable as the others were. This is one of those outfits that just felt very "me".  I've gotten into a habit of wearing jeans a whole lot this past year!

Wallis

First up, a Butter London! I ordered three colours and the matte topcoat from Coterie for only $11 using a $25 off coupon and free shipping!!! They are normally $14 each so that's an insane deal. This is Butter London "Wallis", one I've been wanting for a while. The formula was perfection and took two easy coats. I don't have any tipwear on day 2 so I think I'll keep this on until Sunday!

Next we have Zoya Sookie. This is such a great traditional red, which is why I bought it. It's sort of a must have shade, I feel. Great formula and two coats. It's super super shiny even without topcoat. This one doesn't really like water so if you do dishes without gloves, be prepared for a few peeled chips. The accent finger is Julep "Oh Canada" which I hadn't worn yet since it arrived AFTER Canada Day. Grr. It has red and   colour shifting glitter in it in a clear base. I guess it's supposed to  be white and red glitter... I wish it was! But the "white' changes colour depending on the angle.

This was a fun one. The black is China Glaze "Liquid Leather". The white is Sinful Colors "Snow Me White". The neon is Sinful Colors "Neon Melon". The ring finger is Color Club "Revvvolution". It was inspired by one I saw on Tumblr but unfortunately it didn't say who it was by!
