The weather is warming up! I've officially put away my warmer Winter clothes (except for some ankle boots which will work in Spring). It was actually a pretty cool, wet March for us though. We had one hot week but the rest was much more mild. I'm getting excited about wearing shorts more though! I think I'll try to wear heels/dresses/skirts more this month. I get into a (lazy) habit of wearing pants and flats so easily.

Outfit: California Vibe
Do you find that where you live affects your style? I've been in Southern California for 5+ years now and I definitely know that the beachy, laid back surfer vibe has rubbed off on me! I gravitate towards a lot of comfortable basics, flowy tops, ripped denim, flat shoes and so on. Not to say I don't also like to throw on heels and a dress but even then, I see the SoCal influence. I've only lived on the West Coast though so I think that laid back vibe has always been a part of my look.
I bought this Old Navy tee hoodie in two colours. It's very lightweight which is great for Spring here! Of course I couldn't resist this pretty mint shade. I also recently bought these flats from Payless. They are super comfortable and such an easy pair of shoes to throw on. I freakin' love the pattern and the fact that they add some interest to a simple tshirt and shorts look. This is the kind of outfit I often throw on to walk my dog, run errands... anything some what active.

Good Beer, Good Weather and Good Friends
- I finally got a new military dependent ID after over a year of not having one. I don't have a drivers license so while I didn't have this I was stuck using my passport everywhere.
- Being silly at a local brewery with my husband and friends. "I got a fever for the beaver"... because the place is called Belchin' Beaver.
- Our beers at Belchin' Beaver. I loved Wet Hop Highway.
- Eating Thai food and enjoying a beer at Indian Joe Brewery
- New cut is shorter on top.
- My husband surprised me with this haha He not so secretly would love for me to have a sleeve. Uh, I have one tattoo.
- New shirt. You can find it on society6.com
- Husband and I took Forrest to Ocean Beach dog beach. He loooves dog beaches. We hadn't been to this one but it was great! So big.
- Chambray and floral. Kind of can't beat that.

Capris
I love Spring weather when you can get away with things like pants and a tank top rather than having to cover up or bare more skin. We get SO much sunshine here in SoCal (which is great!) that anything different is sort of a nice change. And here I am talking about the weather again. Apparently this is a fashion, life style and weather blog. ha!
Also, I suspect this pants are supposed to hit at my ankle but you know what? I'm tall. So, sorry Clinton & Kelly but yes, I am wearing capris!
