Outfit: Black Tank Top

These pictures are from a week or so ago. The weather was a lot cooler this week. That's kind of a fun part of Spring here though. It can be 90F or it can be 70F so you can really wear a variety of outfits day to day.  

I've been shopping at Old Navy a ton lately. It's hit or miss with things fitting me there but it's so inexpensive and yet I find the quality is better than, say, Forever 21. I like that they always have the basics but stay on trend. I love this tank top with it's higher neckline, it just gives it a bit of a different look. 

1 week until my husband and I go on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks! We're going on a West Coast road trip which we've done many times to visit family but this time we'll make more stops, spend a few days in Portland and get to visit my family in Canada! Normally we just drive to WA to visit my inlaws. So it'll be fun! We're taking our pup so I've been looking up different dog beaches, hiking trails etc so that he has fun too.

Summer Days

• Group of girls I hung out with on Thursday. I'm the giant! haha
• Saw this cute guy at the beach. 
• Walked around Sunset Market in Oceanside, CA.
• Kitty cuddles.
• Spotted these at Target. They have a lot of new healthy items lately. Of course these aren't as healthy as using fresh ingredients but they were vegan and not full of gross ingredients. I did't buy any but thought I'd share in case someone was interested.
• My bell peppers finally turned yellow!
• I start Phase 2 of Live Fit this week! Excited.
• Ordered this shirt. I looove my hoppy beer! It'll be perfect for brewery hopping next weekend.
• Trimmed my own hair. I use these scissors and this razor comb.

Hope you all have a great week! My husband comes home after being gone for two weeks so I'm excited!

Floral Shorts

The other day I was in Walmart and again, a pair of shorts caught my eye. They were originally cuffed but I opted to remove that for a "cleaner" line. They are super stretchy so I now wish I hadn't sized up but overall, I really like them. I'm sure the print isn't for everyone but I think it's fun.

I love Spring weather when you can get away with things like pants and a tank top rather than having to cover up or bare more skin. We get SO much sunshine here in SoCal (which is great!) that anything different is sort of a nice change. And here I am talking about the weather again. Apparently this is a fashion, life style and weather blog. ha!

Also, I suspect this pants are supposed to hit at my ankle but you know what? I'm tall. So, sorry Clinton & Kelly but yes, I am wearing capris!

This is Funky Fingers "Sand and Stilettos" and it is amazing. Definitely a favourite! It's really hard to capture with the camera but it's gorgeous. There was no sun so I took a few pictures under my oven light so you can see the holo blingy-ness. I love it in the shade to though! So pretty. Application was great, just two coats and it's opaque. As for removal... I picked most of it off because glitter is evil haha but next time I will use the foil method since picking = ugly looking nails.

 Here's my first 30 for 30 outfit! I bought the tank top earlier that day at Target. I went in there for one, expecting to pay $9 because that's how much the ones I wanted are but I found this one (the only one in any size or colour!) for under $3. Obviously I bought it. It's a bit tight but that's okay. Well, my boobs look gigantic but whatever.  When I lose weight, I go down a band size but not a cup size so my boobs just end up looking bigger!
