I wore this to a tea party on Saturday. :) It was fun. I don't know if tea parties are becoming more trendy or what but they've become a bit more popular here it seems. I had a jewelry tea party last Fall and have been invited to at least four tea parties since then! I'm a sucker for a theme though so it's right up my alley. One of the main reasons I like holidays is because they have a theme. haha
These shorts were $2.99 at Charlotte Russe, part of the haul I got with my gift card (well $10 out of the $50 I had on it). They were way too big but I knew it was a pretty simple alteration so I bought them anyway. I like how feminine they are! I think a scalloped hem would be cute but I'm not going to attempt that, haha.

I ended up switching out the sweater for this blazer before I went to the party. I think it pulled the look together a bit better.

I made/brought chocolate dipped strawberries, mmm!

ReplyDeletecute! i like the sweater look more, because it looks more comfy, but the blazer was nice for the tea party! My friend Kim had a tea party wedding shower and we all brought teacups to trade, and I made hers with my kiln,,It was fun! I think I have a blog post about it somewhere..
