21 Day Makeup Challenge

I was browsing the internet for a makeup challenge but couldn't find what I really wanted. So, I've decided to just make my own up! It will start April 1st and there are 21 challenges. Anyone is welcome to join in, whether you blog or not! If you do blog, all I ask is that you link back to this blog.  :)  On the 1st, I will do a post here linking up all other blogs that are participating so if you would like to be included in that, just shoot me an email (missus.strout@gmail.com).  And no, you do not need to be some sort of makeup pro to participate, I'm sure not. Just have fun with it! It's a great way to try new looks and go outside of your comfort zone.

Cat eyes are just winged eyeliner.  Neon can be any super bright colour worn anywhere on the face. Bold/statement lip is just wearing an eye catching lipstick or you could do an ombre lip, something like that. Inspired by a celebrity is just copying a celebrity's makeup (post a pic if you can). Natural look should be full makeup but done in a way that it looks natural.  Smokey eye with a twist will have dark shadow around the eye like any smokey eye would but then add an unexpected colour, detail, glitter etc. Shades of coral just means where different shades of it on your face like one for lips, a different one for eyes etc or you could wear a few different shades of it just on your eyes.  Double eyeliner just mean you have two lines of liner whether they are stacked or one is on the upper lash line and one is on the bottom   both winged out.  Inspired by a look means copying the makeup of a fellow blogger or maybe a picture you found on Pinterest/Tumblr (again share the pic if you can). One color is wearing one basic color like pink, but it can be in different shades, throughout the face like, say, pink lips, some pink eyeshadow and pink blush.  Glitter can be anywhere on the face. Silver eyes, just include silver liner, glitter, eyeshadow etc. Same for gold eyes.  A bronzed look will use bronzer whether it's just on your face or your eyes as well.  For bombshell look, think of Kim Kardashian or the Victoria's Secret Angels as your inspiration; big lashes, full lips, flawless skin etc.  Purple can be anywhere on the face, as much or as little as you want but it should be noticeable.  Berry lips and/or eyes will use a dark red shade...like the stain a blackberry leaves. A pop of colour can be anywhere on the face but should be very noticeable. Maybe line your lower water line with blue, wear a fuschia lip stick etc.  Lots of pink means wearing this colour in multiple ways. Finally, vintage will be inspired by any past decade; Mad Men is great for inspiration.
