I didn't intentionally dress like a man on this particular day, it just sort of happened.  And I'm totally okay with that.

Let's Fly

Right now I am hopefully up high in the air, flying to San Jose! Here are a few pictures I took yesterday before I went and finally got my bangs trimmed. Also, I have had this dress for, like, 6 or 7 years. haha It's that Joe brand from Superstore; impressive that it has held up so well! I have taken it in at the sides as I've lost weight but that's it.

Casual Skirt

How is everyone's week going? Mine has been pretty busy! Just trying to get all the gifts done and stuff ready by Saturday. We are hopefully heading to my inlaws place in WA State on Sunday and will be there until after Christmas. :) I've been pretty busy making gifts but I only have one thing left to do!

This skirt has black polka dots, they are just hard to see here. I'll show you how I wore it another way tomorrow. Oh and sorry about the view of my dog's butt. Unintentional, I promise.

Close up of the necklace. I think it's so darling. It has little gold flakes in it. My husband's grandma gave it to me. She's always finding the best vintage jewelry!

Fall Uniform

I was wanting to wait on my new camera to take outfit pictures but ended up taking these with my old one after a mix up with the Target shipping (the other day it said it hadn't even shipped yet despite  being bought on the 20th! but now it says it'll arrive today or tomorrow. Not sure what happened there). Oddly, these are some of the better outfit pictures I've gotten from my camera. I guess because I stood closer. haha That makes me sound less than smart. Normally I stand further away and then crop but I end up with blurry details. It's a bit more crisp here. It still does that annoying blur at the bottom though. I always have blurry shoes. haha

Anyway. This is my Fall uniform. It's pretty much what I plan on wearing when we're in WA State for 10ish days on vacation. Jeans + top + collard shirt + sweater + boots. Maybe it's not the most exciting but hey.

Some of you may have noticed I didn't post my outfits and purchases from last (September) month. This wasn't intentional! I just don't have access to my laptop right now and am using my husband's so I didn't have my purchases list and therefor wasn't sure I could remember it all for a post. haha I will do the outfit post soon, I realize I could have just done that on it's own. Silly me. OTK Socks

Feels like Fall today. :) Trying to make the most of it since next weekend is supposed to  be hot again. 

OTK socks and sweater dresses are one of my favourite things to wear in the Fall. These socks are new, from Target, and are sooo comfortable but unfortunately they fall down aka don't like to stay over my knees.  Figures!

Studded Pants

Before all of this 100F nonsense that we're having now, we did have some cooler weather. So don't let my next few outfit posts confuse you haha 

I altered these pants to fit better. They aren't stretchy so they always seem to stretch out a bit as a wear them, still do, but oh well. I added these Ebay studs on one side. I love the look! At first a few came loose but I think they are secure now. If not, I will hot glue the backs of them.  This blouse is still one of my favourites! I love the draped fit and black trim. The collar tips are also from Ebay (like $1.50 for two pairs!); I got them to spruce up my collared shirts. Aren't they fun?
