- Enjoyed a gorgeous beach BBQ on Wednesday.
- Walking to the Farmer's Market which I did not make it to because I ended up going out for sushi with some girls instead.
- Taking my coffee from home to go.
- Target now carried vegan ice cream!!
- Slowly improving! 6 miles in 58:45. Goal is under 55min by June.
- William Wallace sleeping wedged between me and the couch arm.
- Shopping at Burlington Coat Factory. So many cute dresses but they were all too short on me!
- I loved this skirt but it just wasn't well made. When something is already snagged and such on the hanger it doesn't really make me want to buy it.
- Checked out Drew Barrymore's cosmetics like Flower at Walmart. It's cruelty free but none seemed to be vegan. Bummer.

Grunge
I recently bought these Western style boots at Burlington Coat Factory. They were $19.99 and I had a 20% off coupon so quite a steal! I love them. I think they add some personality to the outfit and really, isn't that what a pair of shoes should do? Well, besides the more practical act of protecting your feet.
I'd forgotten I'd altered these shorts to fit! They are a favourite now. The shirt is altered too because one day I found a huge hole in it! No idea how it got there but my solution was just to chop off the border that was at the bottom. So the sweater is much more cropped now and I mostly wear it around the house but I actually really like it with this outfit. It gives it a grungy look, I think. I guess the moral of this story paragraph is waste not want not!

I did a second bold/statement lip look. This time I used Wet n Wild "Purty Permmison" which is an orange red shade. I really love the Wet n Wild line of matte lipsticks; I own quite a few and love them.

Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial
31 Day Nail Challenge
I knew all along I would take inspiration from Nailside for this challenge. She has great tutorials, mainly tape ones, that I have been meaning to try! I usually find tape manis kind of tricky but I was really happy with how these turned out. I followed the mummy, cartoon heart, explosion (minus a step), lightning bolt and snowflake tutorials.
Barielle "Falling Star", Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Celeb City", Essie "Ruby Slippers", China Glaze "Glittering Garland", China Glaze "Twinkle Lights" and Julep "Diane".
Here's two quick outfits. One before my haircut and one after. My hairdresser went quite a bit shorter than I had asked for! It took me a day or so to get used to it but I'm really liking it now. That said, I haven't washed it yet and my hair is naturally wavy not straight, so we will see!
I look really angry here but really the sun was just in my eyes haha

Love this lipstick except it wears off leaving just the liner so then I look very strange haha

This is Funky Fingers "Sand and Stilettos" and it is amazing. Definitely a favourite! It's really hard to capture with the camera but it's gorgeous. There was no sun so I took a few pictures under my oven light so you can see the holo blingy-ness. I love it in the shade to though! So pretty. Application was great, just two coats and it's opaque. As for removal... I picked most of it off because glitter is evil haha but next time I will use the foil method since picking = ugly looking nails.

Here's my first 30 for 30 outfit! I bought the tank top earlier that day at Target. I went in there for one, expecting to pay $9 because that's how much the ones I wanted are but I found this one (the only one in any size or colour!) for under $3. Obviously I bought it. It's a bit tight but that's okay. Well, my boobs look gigantic but whatever. When I lose weight, I go down a band size but not a cup size so my boobs just end up looking bigger!
My dog was not in the mood for photos.
