Good Beer, Good Weather and Good Friends

• I finally got a new military dependent ID after over a year of not having one. I don't have a drivers license so while I didn't have this I was stuck using my passport everywhere. 
• Being silly at a local brewery with my husband and friends. "I got a fever for the beaver"... because the place is called Belchin' Beaver.
• Our beers at Belchin' Beaver. I loved Wet Hop Highway.
• Eating Thai food and enjoying a beer at Indian Joe Brewery
• New cut is shorter on top.
• My husband surprised me with this haha He not so secretly would love for me to have a sleeve. Uh, I have one tattoo. 
• New shirt. You can find it on society6.com
• Husband and I took Forrest to Ocean Beach dog beach. He loooves dog beaches. We hadn't been to this one but it was great! So big. 
• Chambray and floral. Kind of can't beat that.

Blunt

I got my haircut on Thursday. :) I'm really loving the blunt, shorter length! My inspiration was Julianne Hough and Karlie Kloss. Ignore how red it looks in some of these pictures...it was just the sun being silly. My hair is mostly back to its natural brown shade now.

 I love pale pink and army green together. There's just something ironic about it. heheh  I wore this out to lunch with some friends but ended up going with flats and a lighter sweater since the sun decided to make a small  appearance. Oh and this is the sweater I bought at some outlet store in Monterey, CA that I can't remember the name of.

New Do

The first time I wore these pants they were a bit too tight but now they have morphed into the perfect fit! I want them in more colours now! I doubt Walmart still has them though (they aren't online anyway). They are a bit on the short side but thankfully that is accepted as being in style these days haha That is good news for tall women like myself.  I think the fit is a mixture of them stretching out a bit and me losing a few pounds.

I got my hair cut today. I wanted more of a long bob with messy layers and shorter bangs. My bangs turned out a bit short but that's fine because they grow so quickly! They also look uneven in some pictures, right? Strange. I'll have to wash/style it and then give it a trim to even it out. But overall I'm loving this style! I asked for some big pieces framing the face and I really like those. My hairdresser also tried a new thinning technique on me since I have such thick hair. My hair feels so light! I treated myself to the curl product she used by Euphora.

When you don't see my dog in my picture it's because the park is empty so I'm letting him run around with his leash still attached hehe

Oh, speaking of Walmart.  I saw on Hello Fashion that Walmart has some pretty cute new items. I'm loving that sweater! Here's some more...

Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial

31 Day Nail Challenge

I knew all along I would take inspiration from Nailside for this challenge. She has great tutorials, mainly tape ones, that I have been meaning to try! I usually find tape manis kind of tricky but I was really happy with how these turned out. I followed the mummy, cartoon heart, explosion (minus a step), lightning bolt and snowflake tutorials.

Polishes used:
Barielle "Falling Star", Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Celeb City", Essie "Ruby Slippers", China Glaze "Glittering Garland", China Glaze "Twinkle Lights" and Julep "Diane".

Here's two quick outfits. One before my haircut and one after. My hairdresser went quite a bit shorter than I had asked for! It took me a day or so to get used to it but I'm really liking it now. That said, I haven't washed it yet and my hair is naturally wavy not straight, so we will see!

I look really angry here but really the sun was just in my eyes haha
