We should be moving in less than two weeks... *fingers crossed*.  Mind you, we still haven't found a home! I'm trusting that it'll all work out and until then just daydreaming about getting to decorate a new place...

I don't know exactly how to describe my interior decorating style but I definitely know what I like when I see it. haha It's a mix of black and white, patterns and pops of color. I guess it's a mix of bohemian and modern which is very similar to my personal style! I'm drawn to mid-century modern, eclectic and Scandinavian interior decorating styles.

New Mom Shopping

Now that I'm not super duper pregnant... I want to go shopping! haha Of course, there are still limitations. Items have to be breastfeeding friendly! Also, I'm not about to go buy pants/shorts that may be too big in a few months. So, mostly, I'm eyeballing blousy tops and shirt dresses at the moment!  I also need to find a nursing cami that I really like (or do this) because tossing one of those on under just about any shirt (one you can pull up) definitely simplifies things. Some drawstring pants would be nice too because I'm finding that my over the belly maternity pants are too loose but I don't fit into all of my regular pants yet.

My Ideal Easter Basket

I'm not even doing Easter baskets this year but if I was... it'd look something like this.  Honestly, because I'm not religious, don't have family near by and don't have kids yet (well, besides the baby in my belly) Easter is just one of those holidays I don't really care about celebrating- next year it'll be a different story!

1. vegan Easter basket - I actually meant to order this from vegancuts.com and forgot. :P Looks pretty ideal to me! The vegan creme eggs look especially enticing.
2. Pacifica ultra cc cream- I've had my eye on this for a while! I think it'll be my next purchase soon as I use up the bb cream I have.
3. Pacifica brow gel - Another Pacifica goody I'd like to try! I actually haven't tried a brow gel before.
4/5. Forever 21 Crochet maxi dress and Painted floral maxi dress - Loving the boho vibe (I blame festival season) and how affordable these are.
6. Dainty bunny ring - Um, adorable and appropriate.

Wishlist - Teething/Nursing Necklaces

I haven't even had my baby yet and I'm already looking at teething necklaces haha From what I've been told, babies start showing interest in this style of jewelry by 3 months. For nursing (bottle or breast) these necklaces help develop baby's fine motor skills as well as provide some always welcomed distraction. For babes who are teething, they'll find comfort in gnawing on a necklace. These necklaces can be made from various materials but silicone, wood and yarn seem to be quite common.  I initially thought they were a clever but ugly idea but have since changed my mind! There are a lot of great looking teething necklaces out there!  So I've rounded up a few of my favourites to share with you all.

Cutout Ankle Boots

I seriously lusting over cut out ankle boots right now! I'm for sure going to get a pair soon but which? I'm not sure yet. Ankle boots are by far my favourite style of shoes to wear. What about you? Cut outs on boots might not be the best if you live somewhere with a lot of rain but I don't! haha

Spring is officially here, people! I know some of you are still dealing with snow but hey, all the more time to work on that Spring wardrobe and faux tan (I'm using this and it's AMAZING) right?

Sunny Afternoon

I know you can't see what I'm wearing that clearly but I like these pictures. Plus, it's worth noting that it was almost warm enough for shorts over the weekend! Almost. I was a bit cold. Shorts from H&M, blouse and shoes from Target.

I haven't dyed my hair (red) since mid December so it is slowing fading. It definitely takes more than the suggested 5 washes to get rid of it, haha. It's kind of a cool orange-red shade now that I love, minus the roots.

 ps. I have major shoe lust lately! My boot collection grew quite a bit this past year but really, most SoCal weather is not boot appropriate! So I'm working on building up my sunny weather shoe collection.  And yes, I really do have a thing for ankle straps!

Wishlist

Just some items I'm lusting over. I rarely order online and am trying to cut back more although I really was not good about that this month!  I am trying to thrift more than buy new for clothes this year so it helps to narrow down what I like and sort of refuse to buy items on a whim.

Minus the boots on the bottom left; I bought them! They should arrive any day now. I ordered them from a different website for under $30 including shipping.
